The challenge

Many elderly people in Tilburg have a limited social network, making it difficult for them to receive help with small chores and engage in meaningful social interactions. Their smaller social circle limits access to support, which in turn contributes to practical challenges in daily life as well as feelings of isolation and loneliness. This lack of support makes it harder for them to stay socially engaged and feel connected to their community. Through direct conversations, customer feedback, and ongoing service evaluations, we have validated that there is a strong and recurring need for both practical assistance with daily tasks and opportunities for social connection, helping elderly individuals remain supported and engaged in their daily lives.
